About Us
Nanokriti was founded in 2022 as an IIT Ropar-incubated company with a clear focus, to translate nanobubble science into practical, scalable solutions.
Our team brings together professors, researchers, and engineers with over eight years of hands-on experience in nanobubble technology. What started as research in the lab has evolved into engineered systems designed for real-world performance.
We design and manufacture nanobubble generators that enhance gas–liquid interactions at the microscopic level. These bubbles, nearly 1,000 times smaller than a strand of hair, remain stable in water and exhibit unique electrochemical properties. Their ability to generate reactive species enables the breakdown of organic contaminants, reduction of pathogens, and oxidation of unwanted chemicals, without relying heavily on conventional chemical inputs.
Our systems are being deployed across wastewater treatment, aquaculture, waterbody restoration, agriculture, industrial processes, sterilization, and emerging areas such as carbon capture and resource recovery.

Dr. Neelkanth Nirmalkar, founder of Nanokriti, began exploring the world of nanobubbles during this period. His first breakthrough research laid the foundation for years of innovation to come.

Dr. Neelkanth and his research team delved deeper into the properties and applications of nanobubbles. Over the years, published over 20 papers and run small-scale projects to gather critical data.
