A lake is more than just a water body—it’s an important part of the environment and the communities around it. At Rangsagar Lake in Udaipur, Rajasthan, years of organic pollution had reduced dissolved oxygen levels, affected aquatic life, and led to persistent foul odours and algae growth. To restore the lake, Nanokriti installed the NanoAqua N-500 Nanobubble Generator, using oxygen nanobubbles to naturally improve water quality without chemicals. Over time, the transformation became clearly visible. Dissolved oxygen levels increased, BOD and COD gradually declined, foul odours disappeared, algae growth was brought under control, and the water became noticeably clearer. As the ecosystem recovered, the lake regained its ecological health and visual appeal. This project demonstrates how nanobubble technology can help cities restore polluted lakes through a sustainable, chemical-free approach while protecting valuable freshwater ecosystems.
