A pond that was once covered with thick algae and known for its foul smell is now on its way to becoming a clean and healthy water body again. In Phool Kalan, Ropar District, Punjab, Nanokriti restored the village’s community sewage pond using the NanoCloud N-50 Nanobubble Generator, a completely chemical-free solution that works by naturally increasing dissolved oxygen in the water. As oxygen levels improved, organic pollutants began to break down more efficiently, leading to a noticeable improvement in water quality. Within just 30 days, dense algae disappeared, foul odours were eliminated, and BOD and COD levels dropped significantly, leaving behind visibly cleaner water and healthier conditions for aquatic life. More than restoring a pond, this project helped create a cleaner, safer environment for the surrounding community and demonstrated how nanobubble technology can bring polluted water bodies back to life sustainably.
