Hydroponic systems depend heavily on dissolved oxygen levels for efficient plant growth. In this study, air nanobubbles generated using NanoCloud by Nanokriti were introduced into the nutrient solution to improve oxygen availability and evaluate their impact on crop performance.
The results showed clear improvements across both crops. Coriander recorded a 27.4% increase in root length, along with gains in shoot growth, leaf development, and overall biomass. The effect was even more pronounced in lettuce, where plants showed 25.7% longer roots and up to 78.3% increase in fresh weight, with dry weight more than doubling.
Beyond the numbers, the treated plants showed healthier root systems, more consistent growth, and improved overall structure. While coriander showed steady improvements across parameters, lettuce responded with significant gains in biomass, highlighting the strong potential of nanobubbles for leafy crop production.
These results demonstrate how improving oxygen delivery at the root level can directly translate into better growth performance, making nanobubble technology a practical and scalable solution for hydroponic farming.
